Homeowners insurance facts
1. Cutting corners doesn’t pay
Many homebuyers go for the lowest priced insurance and forget to factor in other important criteria. When hardships arise, the difference between the cheapest policy and the one that offers excellent value becomes clear. Your AHI Agent will help you weigh the options and find the right level of coverage for you.
2. Comparison is key
It’s important to consider your options and shop around to find the right provider. At AHI, we’ll do the work by checking with multiple companies and getting you several quotes. All the insurance carriers we work with have high ratings, an indication of financial stability.
3. A policy should be personalized
Many homeowner policies cover both property and personal liability. Your AHI Insurance Agent will help you look at the big picture and tailor your policy to your individual needs. Do you own fine art? Do you need specialized coverage for earthquake and/or flood? We’re here to help.
4. Bundling can have benefits
Interested in lower premiums? Ask AHI how you can bundle your homeowner, automobile and any other coverage through one insurance carrier. Plus, you’ll always know exactly who to contact any time you need assistance, without having to dig through piles of paperwork.
5. Conduct regular reviews
Life changes often, and so do your insurance needs. Review your policy regularly and ask your AHI Agent questions about your coverage. You may be able to reduce your premiums if you add certain features to your home, such as a security system, fire alarm or electrical upgrades.
